3 Daily Fantasy Football Players to Avoid in Week 10

Aaron Jones, RB, Green Bay Packers

FanDuel Price: $6,400

DraftKings Price: $6,900

It was fun while it lasted. Aaron Jones entered Monday night's game against the Detroit Lions as the lead back of the Green Bay Packers, seeing 80% of the snaps and 20 touches in the game prior.

However, with Brett Hundley struggling to move the ball and the Packers falling behind early, they would resort to a hurry-up offense, using Ty Montgomery as the primary back. Jones would end up with a mere 7 touches, with Montgomery out-snapping him 24-20 and outgaining him 51-11 in total yards.

Welp. Now coach Mike McCarthy has announced he plans to rotate the two backs, leading to every fantasy footballer's worst nightmare: the dreaded running back by committee.

Although the run-oriented Chicago Bears are less likely to storm out to a big lead like the Lions, they have a solid defense -- ranked 10th against the run by numberFire's schedule-adjusted metrics -- and the Packers have a meager 16.25 implied team total.

Neither Jones or Montgomery are good bets to see the volume or scoring upside to make them viable DFS plays this week.
