Week 6 NFL Advanced Analytics Superstars

During an NFL season that seems to be lacking a truly dominant team, it seems fitting that we saw our lowest performance scores across the board during Week 6. Shaky quarterback play certainly played a significant role, and losing Aaron Rodgers for perhaps the season hurts, but there were still several superstar performances worth highlighting.

Each week in this space, we'll take a look at offensive players at each position who helped put their team in the best position to win. However, we'll be going beyond just the box score by diving into the impact of each player on their team's success.

To do this, we'll utilize our signature metric, Net Expected Points (NEP), which quantifies the number of points a player adds to his team versus how he's expected to perform. When a player rushes for 5 yards on a 3rd-and-3 and keeps the drive -- and potential for scoring points -- alive, he'll add more to his team's expected point total than when a player rushes for 5 yards on a 3rd-and-9 and forces his team to punt. You can learn more about NEP in our glossary.

So who were Week 6's NEP superstars?
