3 Daily Fantasy Football Players to Avoid in Week 5

Antonio Brown, WR, Pittsburgh Steelers

FanDuel Price: $8,800

DraftKings Price: $8,400

Before you yell, no, you're not benching Antonio Brown in season-long leagues, and this also doesn't mean you can't start him in large-field DFS tournaments.

But this is a word of warning that this sets up as a very, very tough spot against the Jacksonville Jaguars, and it's worth considering the fade, or at least limiting your exposure. The Jaguars pass defense is about as tough as they get, taking the top honors in Adjusted Defensive Passing Net Expected Points (NEP) per play and allowing the fewest passing yards per game (147.0). They've also allowed the second-fewest fantasy points per game to wide receivers on both FanDuel and DraftKings.

And just as concerning for Brown is that the Jags are poor on the ground and have allowed the most rushing yards per game (165.5). That means the Pittsburgh Steelers are far more likely to make this a Le'Veon Bell game than one in which they air it out with Ben Roethlisberger.

We know Brown is as good as they come and the targets should be there, so there's always the chance he still finds his way to a strong performance on Sunday. But at his lofty price tag, you need a truly big day to hit value, and the floor is low against this defense. As we've seen against the Baltimore Ravens and Minnesota Vikings this season, Brown isn't immune to tough matchups.
