7 DraftKings Bargains for Week 5
If you want to pay up for some studs, you'll need to pinch pennies elsewhere. That's where the New York Jets come in as they boast a dope matchup with the Cleveland Browns.

Jay Cutler, QB, Miami Dolphins

DraftKings Price: $5,200

The Miami Dolphins' Jay Cutler is only on this list because of the matchup. He has been a fantasy dud all season, topping out at 13.1 DraftKings points in Week 1 (at a $6,100 salary -- yeesh). Per our Net Expected Points metric, Cutler has been the league's third-worst passer on a per-drop-back basis. His 5.8 average yards per attempt ranks 34th among quarterbacks; there are 32 teams.

Cutler has been your preferred antonym for good.

About this matchup, though. The Tennessee Titans were the reason Deshaun Watson got plugged in this piece last week. They have given up 25.69 fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks, second only to the New England Patriots. Tennessee has given up an average of slightly more than 35 DraftKings points in the past two weeks. We have them ranked as the fourth-worst team against the pass, per our schedule-adjusted metrics. If there was ever a week for Cutler to bust out with a big performance -- or even just a solid one -- this is it.

Cutler profiles as a much more attractive fantasy option this week if Marcus Mariota is playing. If he is, we can expect Miami to be passing the ball more often in an effort to keep up with the Titans. Cutler is scary, no doubt, but he shouldn't see much ownership and he's dirt cheap. If you're intent on paying down at quarterback, he's an option.
