Matt Jones was a healthy scratch in Week 10, leaving Rob Kelley as the early-down running back and Chris Thompson as the third-down back against the stingy Minnesota Vikings defense. Kelley responded with 97 yards on 22 carries, and protected the football -- something Jones has failed to do this season.

Kelley and the Washington Redskins have an imposing string of run defenses left on the schedule, but it's rare to find a workhorse running back on waivers this late in the season. He doesn't have league-winning upside, but he's capable of gaining consistent yardage and should get goal line opportunities on a good offense.

Jones will surely be active again this year, but Kelley has shown enough to remain in the lead role and could finish as an RB2 over the rest of the season.
