Central Florida's B.J. Taylor ready to play versus East Carolina

Central Florida Knights sophomore guard B.J. Taylor (thumb) will return from a seven-game absence to play Tuesday versus the East Carolina Pirates, according to Jon Rothstein of Fan Rag Sports.

What It Means:

Taylor has been out since December 3 with a thumb injury, where the Knights went 5-2. The sophomore was leading the team with 16.0 points, 5.0 assists, and 1.4 steals per game through the first seven games of the season. UCF is our 48th-ranked team -- based on nERD-- and owns a 10.7% chance of making the field of 68. Expect those numbers to rise with Taylor back n the fold.

Taylor owned a 33.9% assist rate and a 27.1 net rating in his seven games played this season.
