Houston Rockets small forward Sam Dekker will reportedly undergo back surgery on Friday, and he will be sidelined for approximately three months following the procedure.
Dekker hasn't been fantasy relevant this season, so this won't have much of a ripple effect. He reportedly has been dealing with this injury since his senior year at Wisconsin and hopes that successful surgery will put it in the past for good.
Dekker, a rookie, has played a grand total of seven minutes in three games this season. His only counting stats are a defensive rebound and steal he recorded against the Golden State Warriors on October 30.
