The Toronto Raptors acquired guard/forward Danny Green from the San Antonio Spurs in a deal that also netted guard/forward Kawhi Leonard and yielded power forward Jakob Poeltl and a protected 2019 first-round pick.
Green figures to compete with C.J. Miles, OG Anunoby, and Norm Powell for minutes in Toronto but the 31-year-old should have an opportunity to open the year in the starting lineup. He's shot below 40.0 percent in three straight seasons following a breakout 2014-15 campaign.
Green averaged 19.6 FanDuel points in 70 games (60 starts) for the Spurs last season, with 8.6 points, 1.7 3-pointers, 3.6 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 0.9 steals, and 1.1 blocks per contest.
