The Boston Celtics have renounced restricted free agent center Kelly Olynyk.
As an unrestricted free agent, the Celtics won't be able to match any offers for Olynyk, but they wouldn't have been able to after Tuesday's signing of Gordon Hayward. The 26-year-old big man projects to have a "strong market," according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski. A new NBA home should mean good news for Olynyk's fantasy value.
Olynyk averaged 9.0 points, 4.8 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 0.9 3-pointers per game last season on .512 percent shooting from the field and .354 percent from downtown. His 1.9 nERD ranked fifth on the Celtics.
