Charlotte Hornets guard/forward Nicolas Batum (knee) returned to practice on Thursday.
Thanks to some convenient scheduling, Batum could only wind up missing two games if he's able to make it back on Friday against the Philadelphia 76ers. Jeremy Lamb has averaged 12.0 points, 6.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists in Batum's absence, but a return to the lineup will sap most of that value.
Batum is having a strong year, averaging career-highs in points (15.1) and assists (5.8), to go with 7.4 rebounds, in 34.5 minutes per game. He owns a 0.2 nERD on the season that currently ranks 133rd in the NBA.
