New Orleans Pelicans guard Tyreke Evans (knee/calf strain) is "very close" to returning, said head coach Alvin Gentry.
It's a promising sign, but important to note that Evans still has no official date for a return. His insertion back into the lineup will threaten the fantasy values of the likes of E'Twaun Moore, Solomon Hill and Langston Galloway.
Evans is projected to average 10.9 points, 3.3 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 1.1 3-pointers in 26.2 minutes per game over the rest of the season, based on our algorithms.
