San Antonio Spurs point guard Tony Parker suffered a knee injury on Monday that head coach Gregg Popovich said may cause him to miss extended time.
Parker has already missed seven games this season, and with Popovich never being shy about sitting players, there's a good chance that he holds Parker out until he is 100 percent healthy -- which looks like it could be an extended period.
Parker has not had a great start to the season, evidenced by a career-low 11.6 player efficiency rating as well as a 15.0 percent turnover rate that is his worst since the 2009-2010 season. He has also struggled shooting the ball, and his .505 true shooting percentage is his worst mark since his 2001-2002 rookie season.
