Philadelphia 76ers point guard Sergio Rodriguez flirted with a double-double in his debut with the Sixers, scoring 12 points with 9 assists and 4 rebounds against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Wednesday.
Rodriguez is starting at the point with Jerryd Bayless missing time to start the season, and it looks like he will be a promising fantasy option for as long as he is playing starters' minutes.
Our models account for his role decreasing significantly when Bayless returns, and we project him for only 4.7 points and 2.0 assists in 12.2 minutes per game over the remainder of the season. Regardless of that outlook, he should be on your radar for the next month at least.
