Indiana Pacers power forward Thaddeus Young managed a double-double in only 18 minutes of preseason action on Tuesday, tallying 12 points, 10 rebounds, one assist and one block against the New Orleans Pelicans.
It was Young's debut with the Pacers, and it looks like he will fit right in in Indiana. He has apparently been working on his 3-point shot this off-season, and was 1-for-1 from downtown Tuesday.
Young averaged 15.1 points and 9.0 rebounds in 33.0 minutes per game with the Brooklyn Nets last season. His 15.4 percent total rebound rate was a career-high, and his 17.5 player efficiency rating and .533 true shooting percentage were his best marks since the 2012-2013 season.
