Jordan Nwora J. Nwora

Jordan Nwora joining Raptors via trade

The Toronto Raptors are acquiring forward Jordan Nwora from the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday.

What It Means:

The Raptors are receiving Nwora, Bruce Brown, and three first-round picks from the Pacers in exchange for Pascal Siakam. Toronto is also collecting Kira Lewis from the New Orleans Pelicans in the deal. Nwora averaged 10.2 minutes in 18 games for the Pacers this season, but he could earn a larger role for a rebuilding Raptors team. The 25-year-old will likely be competing with Thaddeus Young, Chris Boucher, and Jalen McDaniels for minutes in the rotation.

Nwora averaged 9.4 FanDuel points per game for the Pacers this season, with 5.2 points, 1.8 rebounds, 1.0 assists, and 0.6 three-pointers. He only connected on 30.6 percent of his attempts from beyond the arc, down from 38.6 percent in Nwora's first three seasons.
