The Miami Heat will pick up second-year player Tyler Johnson's contract.
Johnson is currently slotted as third on the Heat depth chart at point guard behind Goran Dragic and Mario Chalmers after the departure of Shabazz Napier. However, the Heat are currently shopping Chalmers, so Johnson could move into second on the depth chart.
Johnson posted a -0.9 nERD last season while averaging 5.9 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 1.0 steal per game. He ranked seventh on the team with a 12.0 Player Efficiency Rating.
