Indiana Pacers point guard Tyrese Haliburton (knee/elbow) said his "goal" is to play on Thursday versus the Los Angeles Lakers.
Haliburton has been sidelined since January 11 due to left knee and elbow sprains. The Pacers are on the front end of a back-to-back Thursday, so if Haliburton accomplishes his goal, they will likely hold him out Friday versus the Sacramento Kings. T.J. McConnell, Chris Duarte, and Andrew Nembhard will take a hit once Haliburton is cleared.
numberFire's models currently project Haliburton for 24.8 minutes and 28.7 FanDuel points on Thursday. He has the second-highest usage rate (23.8%) on the Pacers this season, behind Bennedict Mathurin (25.8%). McConnell is averaging a team-high additional 18.3 FanDuel points per game this season when Haliburton is inactive. Duarte is second on the Pacers at plus-12.1 FanDuel points and Nembhard is next at plus-7.7 FanDuel points per game without Haliburton.
