New York Knicks small forward RJ Barrett (finger) is out for Thursday versus the San Antonio Spurs.
Barrett made an early exit from Tuesday's loss to the Dallas Mavericks after suffering a right index finger laceration. He is expected to miss “a week or so," according to Stefan Bondy of the New York Daily News. That means he will likely miss the next three games. Quentin Grimes and Miles McBride should take on larger roles while Barrett is sidelined.
Barrett has a 26.0% usage rate, second-highest on the Knicks this season. He's averaging 34.1 minutes and 30.4 FanDuel points per game.
