Jeff Hornacek expected to be a coaching candidate for the Pacers

Jeff Hornacek, former coach of the Phoenix Suns, is expected to be a candidate for the Indiana Pacers open head coach position, according to Ken Berger of CBS.

What It Means:

Hornacek is also being considered for the Kings head coach position and will join names like Nate McMillan and Jim Boylen on Pacers president Larry Bird's list. It's looking like Hornacek may not be out of a job very long after being fired by the Suns during the 2015-'16 season.

The Pacers ranked 11th in 2015 with a 55.2 nERD. Paul George is one of the game's best two-way players, and rookie Myler Turner flashed a lot of upside in his first season.
