Charlotte Hornets forward/center Al Jefferson came to play in Game 2, making 12-of-17 shots to finish with 25 points, seven boards, one assist and one steal in just 27 minutes off the bench.
Jefferson's full array of post moves were on display Wednesday night, and he scored 16 points in the second quarter alone, helping to keep Charlotte close despite red-hot shooting from the Heat. His offense won't mean much if the Hornets don't tighten up defensively for Saturday's game in Time Warner Cable Arena, where they went 30-11 during the regular season.
Jefferson ranked 69th with a 1.1 nERD on the year. Through two playoff games, he's averaging 19.0 points and 6.0 boards on 64.0 percent shooting from the field.
