Toronto Raptors forward/center Jason Thompson will start Wednesday's game in place of Luis Scola (sore left knee).
Patrick Patterson will come off the bench, presumably because coach Dwane Casey doesn't want to tamper with the second unit. Patterson has a higher fantasy upside than Thompson and is worth considering as a punt play until Scola returns.
Patterson's nERD ranks 95th at -1.3 and he's played in 68 games this season. He's averaging 6.7 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 1.1 assists per game, while posting a 52.7 True Shooting Percentage. Thompson is averaging just 2.8 points and 2.6 rebounds in 8.9 minutes per game.
