One of the keys to finding success in daily fantasy basketball is uncovering potential value plays. If you're looking to roster a stud player or two, you need to consider squeezing in one of these lower-salaried options into your lineup.

Let's take a look at three players who can help fill in the gaps in your lineup.

Greg Brown, PF, Portland Trail Blazers ($3,600)

With the lack of players available for the Portland Trail Blazers, they are going to offer a ton of value options tonight.

There are a staggering nine players on the injury report for the Trail Blazers, which puts the players they have left on the roster in a spot to play a ton of minutes simply due to the lack of available bodies. This is why we see Greg Brown coming in as the top projected value option, set to go for 27.54 minutes and 26.2 FanDuel points. He's in a fantastic game environment against the Houston Rockets, where the total is set at 234.5-points and the total is close at 3.5 points.

The Trail Blazers (16th) are also playing up in pace because the Rockets (4th) are one of the fastest-paced teams in the league. Not only do the Rockets play fast, but they also don't play any defense, currently allowing 49.48 FanDuel points per game to power forwards, which is the worst in the league.

All of this makes Brown a very strong value option, who is only $100 above the minimum salary.

Kris Dunn, PG, Portland Trail Blazers ($4,800)

Everything that was said above for Greg Brown is true for Kris Dunn.

The Trail Blazers signed Dunn to a second 10-day contract yesterday, and he's set for big minutes tonight. Dunn is projected for 28.30 minutes and 27.8 FanDuel points, making him the sixth-best value option on the slate and the top overall value option among point guards.

In what shouldn't be a surprise, the Rockets are allowing 51.43 FanDuel points per game to opposing point guards, which is dead last in the league.

This is a classic "minutes equal money" situation for tonight's NBA DFS slate. Dunn, Brown, and other players on the Trail Blazers are going to be chalky due to their salaries and the volume of minutes they should be playing with the roster currently depleted.

Dorian Finney-Smith, SF/SG, Dallas Mavericks ($4,500)

The Dallas Mavericks have a great matchup for fantasy production versus the Minnesota Timberwolves. A 228.0-point over/under and a 3.5-point spread put this matchup as one of the best on the slate, and you should look to target players in this game.

We turn to Dorian Finney-Smith, who is projected for 35.58 minutes and 26.1 FanDuel points, making him the fifth-best value option on the slate.

The Mavericks (30th) are dead last in the league in offensive pace, while the Timberwolves (1st) are the league's fastest-paced team. This is, factually, the largest pace-up spot for an NBA team, putting all of their players in a great spot to reach or exceed fantasy value.

Finney-Smith has a bit of upside due to the fact he has attempted five or more three-pointers in five of his last six games, which lines up nicely against the Timberwolves, who are allowing opponents to make the sixth-most (13.0) three-pointers per game. All of this should make him a solid point-per-dollar value option tonight.
