NBA Daily Fantasy Helper: Sunday 1/14/18
Victor Oladipo and the Pacers have a superb matchup on Sunday against the Suns. Who else should you target on the two-game main slate?

If you're new to daily fantasy basketball -- maybe you started your DFS journey during the MLB or NFL seasons, or maybe basketball is your sport and this will be your first year giving it a shot -- you're in for a treat. The NBA scene changes hugely on a week-to-week, day-to-day, and -- depending on injury news -- even a minute-to-minute basis, making every slate a unique one that requires an ever-changing approach.

With so much changing so quickly, we're here with plenty of tools to help you out. We have daily projections, a matchup heat map, a lineup optimizer, and a ton of other great resources to help give you an edge.

We'll also be coming at you with this primer every day, breaking down a few of the day's top plays at each price point.

Let's take a look at who you should target on today's main slate, which features just two games and starts at 8 pm EST.

Best of the Best

Victor Oladipo (FanDuel Price: $9,300) - On a two-game slate, you can do no wrong banking on the Indiana Pacers' leading scorer as they face the Phoenix Suns in the most favorable matchup of the day. The Suns run at one of the fastest paces in the league and rank in the bottom four of defensive efficiency. Add those two things together, and you get a great fantasy matchup as the Suns are allowing a league-high 112.1 points per game. With the Pacers sitting eighth in offensive rating, points should be aplenty for Indiana, especially for Oladipo. The guard is having a career-best year with per-game averages of 24.2 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 1.9 assists. In his last four games played, the former Hoosier has dropped at least 45 FanDuel points twice, and he gets to square off with the squad allowing the most FanDuel points to opposing shooting guards.
