NBA Daily Fantasy Helper: Saturday 10/21/17
Giannis Antetokounmpo has put up at least 60 FanDuel points in each of his first two games, and he has a nice matchup tonight against the Blazers. Which other players are in a good spot?

If you're new to daily fantasy basketball -- maybe you started your DFS journey during the MLB or NFL seasons, or maybe basketball is your sport and this will be your first year giving it a shot -- you're in for a treat. The NBA scene changes hugely on a week-to-week, day-to-day, and -- depending on injury news -- even a minute-to-minute basis, making every slate a unique one that requires an ever-changing approach.

With so much changing so quickly, we're here with plenty of tools to help you out. We have daily projections, a matchup heat map, a lineup optimizer, and a ton of other great resources to help give you an edge.

We'll also be coming at you with this primer every day, breaking down a few of the day's top plays at each price point.

Let's take a look at who you should target on today's slate.

Best of the Best

Giannis Antetokounmpo (FanDuel Price: $11,300) - The first two games of Antetokounmpo's season have been near perfection. The Milwaukee Bucks' forward has posted consecutive games of at least 60 FanDuel points as he is averaging 35.5 points, 10.5 rebounds, 5.5 assists, and 3.0 steals per game. The Greek Freak has started to come into his own offensively and is controlling the Bucks' offense, owning a 36.4% usage rate and 31.4% assist rate. Even on those nights his shots don't fall, his ability to rack up steals and blocks -- combined 3.5 per game so far this year -- helps give him a high floor. That shouldn't be a concern tonight, though, as he faces a Portland Trail Blazers team that allowed the sixth-most points per game (108.5) last season.
