NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Injury Report: Tuesday 1/17/17

While the injury report is small for Tuesday's five-game slate, it is important to note a couple of returning players who will severely impact the minutes distribution.

Notable Injuries

Denver Nuggets

Gary Harris is dealing with an ankle sprain, and he is doubtful for the Denver Nuggets . Darrell Arthur is already out, so there are several Nuggets who are in play in a nice matchup with the Los Angeles Lakers. Will Barton and Jameer Nelson should both be in for 30-plus minutes with Harris out while Kenneth Faried could see an increase in minutes and production without Arthur.

Clint Capela, Houston Rockets

Clint Capela is making his return tonight after about a month off with a broken leg. It's unlikely he plays a big allotment of minutes, but it throws the Houston Rockets' frontcourt rotation into array. It's probably a situation to avoid until Capela is back to his full minutes.

Nikola Mirotic, Chicago Bulls

Chicago Bulls coach Fred Hoiberg said Nikola Mirotic is set to return tonight after a rough bout with illness. He will take away some minutes from both Doug McDermott and Taj Gibson. He could also be a strong value play if he sees minutes at least 20 minutes.

Patrick Mills, San Antonio Spurs

Patrick Mills said he is going to play, but make sure you double-check his status before tipoff. If he is a surprise scratch, Tony Parker would make for a great play.

Willie Reed, Miami Heat

Willie Reed will be available to play on Tuesday for the Miami Heat, and his return will likely take some minutes away from James Johnson. Other than that, his presence could eat into a little bit of Hassan Whiteside's minutes.
