There's a pretty straightforward formula to use with Toronto Raptors backup guard Fred VanVleet. If Kyle Lowry is out, use him.

That's it, really. The slide could end here, but here are a few more words. VanVleet is averaging 21.8 DraftKings points per game with Lowry in the lineup. Hey, that's not too bad, especially with a $4,000 salary. Of course, that number rockets to 28.3 DraftKings points when Lowry is on the sidelines.

Considering that Lowry was out yesterday and the Raptors have a very winnable matchup against the New York Knicks this evening, it's not surprising that Raptors beat writer Ryan Wolstat expects Lowry to sit once again this evening.

We currently project VanVleet for 23.0 DraftKings points, a return of just over 5.7 points per $1,000. If Lowry does sit, as expected, expect those numbers to climb.
