To kick off his first year with his new team, LeBron James is averaging 52.63 DraftKings points on 27.3 points, 8.3 assists and 8.3 rebounds, along with 1.3 steals on the defensive end. He's coming off of a 67-DK-point showing in an overtime loss to the San Antonio Spurs, and his Los Angeles Lakers are still without the suspended Rajon Rondo and Brandon Ingram.

Absent a pair of starters, James posted season-highs in both usage rate (31.8%) and assist rate (45.2%), while putting up 25 shots and assisting on 14 field goals. Now, those numbers are slightly inflated by the extra five minutes, but James should continue to play 37-plus minutes and pick up more shots and usage until Rondo and Ingram return to the court.

Tonight's matchup is just icing on the cake. The Phoenix Suns rank 20th in defensive rating, per NBA Stats, and have allowed 114 points per game through three games. As a result, the 237.5-point over/under for this one is the highest on the slate, and the Lakers' 119.5 implied total ranks second to only the Golden State Warriors.
