5 NBA FanDuel Value Plays to Target on 3/1/18
On a short slate, the Sixers' second unit could provide some cheap exposure to a high-scoring matchup with the Cavs. Who should you be targeting and why?

T.J. McConnell, PG, Philadelphia 76ers

FanDuel Price: $3,900
Projected FanDuel Points: 21.0
Projected FanDuel Value: 5.39

Since dropping a triple-double back on February 12th, T.J. McConnell has watched as his minutes and production decrease. He's played more than 24 minutes just once in five games while averaging 23.8 minutes and 15.9 FanDuel points over that span. But in his last game, he was back to fantasy relevance with 7 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals in 24 minutes of work.

It's not one game that makes McConnell one of the better cheap options, though. Off the bench, he'll draw the defense of Jordan Clarkson rather than George Hill. The two share the same defensive rating (114), but Clarkson's activity (27.2% usage) should keep McConnell just as active in the Philadelphia 76ers' second unit. And against a Cleveland Cavaliers team allowing at least 38 bench points in three of their last four, that provides McConnell the basis for some upside.

If that wasn't enough, this game's 222-point over/under is the highest of the slate. With the 76ers and Cavs ranked 5th and 13th in pace, respectively, there should be fantasy points to go around tonight.
