3 NBA DraftKings Studs to Target on 1/30/18
Anthony Davis is set to take on a bigger workload, and he gets a delightful matchup with the Kings. Which other high-priced players should you target?

Russell Westbrook, PG, Oklahoma City Thunder

DraftKings Salary: $11,700

Russell Westbrook heads into tonight's slate as the top-priced player, and for good reason. He is averaging 70 DraftKings points over his past three games and 59.8 over his past 10. At this cost, he needs 58.5 DraftKings points to hit value (5 points per every $1,000 in salary), which is nowhere near his ceiling. He's gone for 60-plus DraftKings points in 12 of 17 games since Christmas -- including four 70-burgers.

He also draws a Washington Wizards team that has had no answer for him in the past. He put up 64 DraftKings points against them just last week, which brings his average up to 62.75 DraftKings points in the four games that have remained within 30 points against Washington over the past three seasons. With John Wall out, Washington will likely turn to Tomas Satoransky and Tim Frazier to attempt to slow down Westbrook, and neither player profiles as a guy who could do that.

This slate has several appealing top-end studs, along with many value options, which may result in a stars-and-scrubs lineup construction for the majority of people. Choosing between the likes of Westbrook, Anthony Davis ($11,400), LeBron James ($11,300), and James Harden ($11,200) is going to set lineups apart. You'll be hard-pressed to find a stud who regularly exceeds value at this price more than Westbrook does, though. He should have no problem being productive in this matchup and is a strong target in any format.
