3 NBA DraftKings Value Plays to Target on 1/5/18
Injuries to key Grizzlies means Mario Chalmers holds big-time value at a cheap salary. Who else deserves a deeper play look on Friday's DraftKings slate?

Serge Ibaka, PF/C, Toronto Raptors

DraftKings Salary: $5,500

This matchup between Serge Ibaka's Toronto Raptors and the Milwaukee Bucks carries the highest over/under on the slate, while the Raptors' 109.25-point implied team total is the third-highest among the 20 teams in action on Friday. Not only is the game script as good as it gets, but Ibaka is quite underpriced.

He needs just 27.5 DraftKings points to reach five-times his salary-implied value at this price -- a feat he has accomplished in 12 of his past 14 games. The upside isn't through the roof, but Ibaka has been under 25 DraftKings points just one time since the start of December. That type of consistent floor is exactly what we are looking for in cash games.

The third factor working in Ibaka's favor is the matchup against the Bucks. Milwaukee has struggled against posts all season, which should come as no surprise given their 22nd-ranked defensive efficiency and 27th-ranked rebounding rate. They also have allowed the highest three-point percentage in the league, which is good news for Ibaka, who chucks over four threes per game. He put up 35 DraftKings points against Milwaukee earlier this week, and should have no problem exceeding value once again at this price. He is one of the strongest cash game plays on the entire slate.
