3 NBA DraftKings Value Plays to Target on 10/23/17
The Hawks will be without Dennis Schroder and his 34.1% usage rate tonight, which opens up several interesting value plays.

Reggie Jackson, PG, Detroit Pistons

DraftKings Salary: $5,800

There was some sort of narrative formed coming into the year that Reggie Jackson and Ishmael Smith were going to be in a legitimate time share at the point guard position. While that may have been the case if he struggled, Jackson has played so well that he has forced the Detroit Pistons' hand. He's averaged 28 minutes to Smith's 19 to begin the year and has been incredible with those minutes, averaging 35.5 DraftKings points.

Despite three consecutive games of 30-plus DraftKings points, Jackson's price has not risen much, only up $500 from opening night. He has been highly aggressive in looking for his shot, trailing only Tobias Harris with 14.3 shot attempts, and he has posted a strong 26.9% usage rate.

He will attempt to continue to exceed value in a matchup against the Philadelphia 76ers, one of the best games to attack on what is expected to be a somewhat low-scoring slate of games. The 214.5 point over/under is the second-highest on the slate, and the 3.5 point spread suggests that it should remain competitive. As a result, Jackson is a terrific mid-range value on DraftKings, where he needs just 29 DraftKings points to reach five-times his salary implied value.
