3 Daily Fantasy Basketball Value Plays for 5/3/17
Tristan Thompson put up his best performance of the playoffs in Game 1 against Toronto. Could he be in for an encore tonight?

Tristan Thompson, C, Cleveland Cavaliers

FanDuel Price: $5,700
Projected FanDuel Points: 22.9
Projected FanDuel Value: 4.01

Tristan Thompson put up his best performance of the playoffs thus far in Game 1 against the Toronto Raptors, putting up 34.8 FanDuel points in 38 minutes. Often thought to be an imposing matchup for opposing bigs, the Raptors have shown some vulnerability during the postseason, allowing Greg Monroe and Thon Maker to average a combined 42.9 FanDuel points in Round 1, which is up from their regular season combined average of 32.5 points.

Thompson and the Cleveland Cavaliers will look to post a repeat performance in Game 2 and Vegas likes their chances. Cleveland's 110.5 implied team total is the highest on the slate, and Thompson should again benefit from the advantageous game script.

He doesn't have elite upside, but has averaged 25 FanDuel points in 32.6 minutes per game in the playoffs. He is one of the safest value centers on the board and is a viable play in any format.
