3 Daily Fantasy Basketball Value Plays for 4/17/17
As rotations shrink during the playoffs, it is harder to find value plays. However, these three bargain-bin players should help find the extra salary to squeeze in the elite players on tonight's slate.

Tristan Thompson, C, Cleveland Cavaliers

FanDuel Price: $4,700
Projected FanDuel Points: 24.6
Projected FanDuel Value: 5.24

Tristan Thompson played 31 minutes in the Cleveland Cavaliers' Game 1 contest against the Indiana Pacers and almost double-doubled, putting up 24.1 FanDuel points. That total shouldn't come as much of a surprise, considering he averaged 24.7 FanDuel points against the Pacers during the regular season.

Indiana is clearly the worst team against opposing bigs on this slate, being the only squad ranked in the bottom 10 in terms of FanDuel points per game allowed. They also ranked 26th in rebounding rate -- which is, again, the worst on the slate. And surprise, surprise, Indiana also has had their shots blocked more than any team playing on Monday.

He's in a better matchup than any center on this slate, is playing for the team with the highest implied team total and is the cheapest of the four starting centers available. Thompson is a terrific value play and helps fit in the likes of a LeBron James, Paul George, or Kawhi Leonard.
