Daily Fantasy Basketball Game Scripts to Target on 3/7/17

Russell Westbrook, PG, Oklahoma City Thunder

FanDuel Price: $13,100

You cannot overprice this man. Even at a ridiculous price tag of $13,100, Russell Westbrook has produced 4.5 FanDuel points per $1,000 in salary in 9 of his last 11 games, showing the ability to still crush value with single-game totals of 74.8 and 83.9 FanDuel points thrown in there. Since the All-Star break, he has three triple doubles and has averaged 37.2 real-life points and 64 FanDuel points.

He'll carry this ridiculous streak into tonight's contest between the Oklahoma City Thunder and Portland Trail Blazers. The 221.5-point over/under in this one comes in second on the slate, as does OKC's 113.75-point implied team total. That number is a 7.5-point improvement over their season scoring average and should come as no surprise, given Portland's 27th-ranked defensive efficiency.

According to the RotoViz Game Splits App, Westbrook has played slightly better when OKC has had an implied team total of more than 110 points, averaging 58.2 FanDuel points in such contests, as opposed to 56.9 FanDuel points in all other games.

In addition to a beautiful game script, Westbrook should feast on an individual matchup against Damian Lillard, who ranks 74th among point guards with a -1.92 defensive real plus-minus rating. Excluding a blowout in which he played just 27 minutes, Westbrook has averaged 43.5 real-life points and 57.7 FanDuel points against Lillard this season.

All things considered, Westbrook is clearly the top play on the board tonight. Without much to pay up for at other positions, he is in the fade-at-your-own risk category tonight.
