The Charlotte Hornets, who also went by the Charlotte Bobcats for 10 years, haven't had much success for quite some time. Before the renaming, they did have three straight seasons with playoff appearances, but they've only made the playoffs three years since, and were knocked out in the first round on each occasion.

It's not surprising then that the Hornets are last in all of the above-mentioned categories, with the exception of defensive rating. After all is said and done, the Charlotte franchise is tied for worst in the composite ranking, at a total of 134.
