Which players own the best of the best single-season performances in the NBA since 2000?

LeBron James, 2008-09

nERD: 30.1

In his first go-around with the Cleveland Cavaliers, this was LeBron James' first ever NBA MVP season. At 24 years old, he averaged 28.4 points, 7.6 rebounds and 7.2 assists while also tallying 1.7 steals and 1.1 blocks a game.

That year, the King missed just one game and amassed his highest player efficiency rating (31.7) and box plus-minus (13.0) of his career to-date. And he did so on a career-high usage rate of 33.8% while leading an otherwise nameless Cavs team to Eastern Conference Finals.
