Cleveland Indians reliever Andrew Miller threw a bullpen session Thursday and said he "felt really good," Paul Hoynes of the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
The bullpen session was his first since landing on the disabled list with a shoulder injury on August 29. Miller said if he does not return for the team's series in Tampa Bay next week, he said he "certainly" will be back the next weekend against Detroit.
He has thrown 24 innings this season with a 3.38 ERA and 3.19 FIP.
