Milwaukee Brewers first baseman Jesus Aguilar is not starting on Wednesday against the Chicago Cubs.
Eric Thames is drawing the start at first base this afternoon, so Aguilar will get a breather on the bench. Thames is batting seventh against Cubs right-hander Kyle Hendricks.
Aguilar is slashing .280/.365/.587 with 60 runs, 29 home runs, and 87 RBIs in a breakout season.
