San Diego Padres third baseman Christian Villanueva is not in the lineup on Tuesday
Villanueva got the start at first base on Monday but returns to the bench with Eric Hosmer in the lineup on Tuesday.
Villanueva is batting .234 with 20 homers and a .330 wOBA in 369 plate appearances this season.
