San Diego Padres second baseman Carlos Asuaje will not start on Sunday night against the Philadelphia Phillies.
Asuaje went 2-for-4 with a double, two runs, and one RBI in the first game of the doubleheader against the Phillies this morning. Jose Pirela will step into his spot for Game 2 this evening.
We project Asuaje to hit .245 with 2 home runs, 12 runs, and 9 RBI in his remaining plate appearances this season.
