Boston Red Sox pitcher Eduardo Rodriguez exited Saturday's start early due to a right ankle sprain, reports Sean McAdam of the Boston Sports Journal.
The injury came out of nowhere, but it forced Rodriguez to leave in the sixth inning. X-rays were negative, and he'll undergo further evaluation to determine the extent of the sprain. There's a chance that he won't even miss a start with the break upcoming.
Rodriguez allowed 0 runs on 4 hits and struck out 5 in 5.1 innings. He ended the day with 31 FanDuel points at his $8,700 price tag.
