Baltimore Orioles outfielder/infielder Jace Peterson is not starting on Friday against the Atlanta Braves.
Craig Gentry is getting the nod in left field, so Peterson will return to the bench on Friday night.
Peterson is batting just .209/.328/.348 over 137 plate appearances this year, but has 8 stolen bases.
