Seattle Mariners outfielder Guillermo Heredia is not starting on Wednesday against the New York Yankees.
Ben Gamel is getting a start in the outfield, so Heredia will head to the bench for tonight's contest.
Heredia is batting .238/.339/.343 over 174 plate appearances this season.
