According to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette's Bill Brink, Los Angeles Dodgers relief pitcher Daniel Hudson is starting Thursday's game against the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Hudson hasn't started a game since May 10, 2015. That, combined with the fact that he's pitched 2 1/3 innings in the past two games, should keep his leash really short. Really, this is a bullpen game for L.A. after scratching Dennis Santana from what would've been his first start in the bigs.
This season, Hudson is 1-2 with a 5.06 ERA and 17 strikeouts in 21 1/3 innings.
