The Texas Rangers will start pitcher Austin Bibens-Dirkx for Thursday's game against the Kansas City Royals, reports Evan Grant of the Dallas Morning News.
The team purchased the 33-year-old's contract on Wednesday, sending Brandon Mann to Triple-A Round Rock. Bibens-Dirkx has a 3.72 ERA in eight minor league starts this season. He made six major league starts and 24 total appearances in 2017.
Our models project Bibens-Dirkx to tally 20.9 FanDuel points in his matchup with the Royals.
