Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Joc Pederson is not starting on Thursday afternoon versus the Arizona Diamondbacks.
It appears to just be a routine breather for Pederson, who is slashing .266/.400/.422 with 1 home run and 13 RBI through 27 games. Tim Locastro will cover center field in his season debut on Thursday.
Pederson is averaging 7.9 FanDuel points per game this season. numberFire's models project him to bat .234 with 15 homers, 46 RBI, and 5 steals over the rest of the year.
