Toronto Blue Jays catcher Russell Martin is not starting on Thursday against the Boston Red Sox.
Luke Maile is getting the start behind the plate, giving Martin a rest day. Martin is slashing just .132/.281/.264 in the early going.
For the rest of the year, numberFire projects Martin to hit .255 with 41 runs, 13 home runs, and 40 RBIs.
