Boston Red Sox pitcher Drew Pomeranz (forearm) is scheduled to be activated off the DL and will start Friday versus the Oakland A's.
Pomeranz will be making his season debut after sitting out with a forearm flexor strain. He made a pair of rehab assignment starts and will be ready to roll against his former team on Friday.
numberFire's algorithms project Pomeranz for a 3.84 ERA, 1.29 WHIP, and 117 strikeouts in 131 1/3 innings pitched the rest of the season.
