The Texas Rangers have placed pitcher Tim Lincecum on the 10-day disabled list.
Shortly after signing with the team, Lincecum developed a blister during spring training, which kept him from getting in any real game action in the Cacus League. The ultimate goal is to have him join the bullpen around the beginning of May.
Our models project Lincecum for a 1-3 record, 7.16 ERA and 1.88 WHIP over 37-plus innings this season.
