Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Andre Ethier is absent from Wednesday's lineup against the San Diego Padres.
Ethier started in left field and hit eighth against the Padres on Tuesday, but will be replaced by Kike Hernandez, who will bat fifth tonight.
